Liverpool has a thriving pub culture and many of the places the Beatles frequented still serve a pint. This relaxed pub walking tour takes you from the bar where they supped a pint before playing at the Cavern (the Cavern was a dry club back then) to the Jacaranda, with murals by Stuart Sutcliffe, where they played for little more than Coca-Cola and beans on toast. Our next stop is where John Lennon took Cynthia on their first date. He also talked, drank and dreamed of the future there with his art school friends. We finish in the opulent, mahogany-lined Philharmonic Dining Rooms, John's favourite pub in the city. Paul McCartney gave an impromptu performance there in 2018.
