Hi Tim Just wanted to say a big thank you for such an amazing tour last Friday morning (14th). Not only did you accommodate me at the very last minute, but the tour covered many areas that I really wanted to see, complete with the opportunity to stop and take photos. The idea of having a smaller group (up to 8) made it much more intimate and easier to communicate. The tour was great and you were both friendly and informative. I was particularly impressed with the knowledge you had on the Beatles, and having first hand experience of it all made it even more exciting! My only regret is that I had to be back to the hotel to check out! The next time I come to Liverpool, I'll be sure to book the full day tour! Thanks again Tim, you made my trip to Liverpool very enjoyable. Regards Katherine (UK)
It was a fantastic experience to walk around in the places associated with The Beatles’ songs and life. The tour was unforgettable and the guide is very nice and funny. I will never forget this weekend. Thanks Tim! Murilo Rocha (Brazil)
Hi Tim, Like I have already expressed to you before, our trip to Liverpool was a memorable one to say the least, especially for Arnold and me. Anjali my wife was excited for me and was happy that we saw all that we could in a very short stay. I would recommend this trip for any person who has any interest in The Beatles at all. First of all, you made yourself available at a short notice, we arrived in Liverpool Saturday evening and Sunday morning at 9:30am you were at our hotel. You didn't waste a moment and got us into the tour, starting off with the hospital where John Lennon was born and then continued on with the excitement of a fan, on our way, you also made last minute arrangements for us to see the Casbah and Ringo's home. The tour was relaxed and informal, just what we were looking for. The Casbah in West Derby was amazing, we met Rory Best there and he showed us around the basement coffee bar which was apparently as original as in the late 50's and 60's.One could feel the excitement in this tiny space. Rory spent a considerable amount of time with us, I think an hour and a half, he was great, giving us insight into those early days, meeting him was the highlight of the tour. Having seen the homes of all the Beatles, standing inside John, Paul, and Ringo's home, the place where John and Paul first met, walking around Penny Lane, standing at the gates to Strawberry Fields and many more locations, it was clear that these four boys, who changed the world with their music, came from very ordinary situations in times of uncertainty in the country and yet they took chances following their passion for music and making the best of their individual situation, together they created music that will be around till the end of time. Finally, you brought us back to John's home and instructed us on how to make an exciting walking journey to Paul's home, traveling along side the golf course which is just across the street from John's house, wouldn't it be exciting if John and Paul used this very route to commute from each others place? In this tour package, you also included The Beatles Museum which was amazing, bring the whole experience together. We thank you for your insight, your loving personality and passion for The Beatles, you made it all worthwhile Tim. We have told everyone here in Canada about you and the tour and we will recommend your tour to everyone we meet. Thanks Again!!! Arnold and Shellar Nath (Canada)
An entertaining and informative one and a half hour tour in a high quality 8 seater minibus, with a twice daily service throughout the summer (July to September). Satisfaction guaranteed for Beatles fans and visitors interested in Liverpool. We offer plenty of entertaining anecdotes and interesting information. We stop for photographs as and when you wish.
Hello Tim,This is Danielle in Canada. My boyfriend Chris and I had a Beatles tour with you in Liverpool on the Monday of September the 24th. We met in front of the Thisle Hotel at 1 o'clock that day. I hope this e-mail finds you and your family well in Liverpool. Following our tour with you, we left for Leeds the next day. We quite enjoyed Leeds where we went shopping at this old market place in the centre of town. It was one of the landmarks and has been there since the 1800's. On the Thursday, we left for Doncaster and went to see a tribute band perform Jimi Hendrix songs. Tim, they were amazing!!! We got to meet the guitarist, John Campbell, and got our picture taken with the group. What a wonderful experience! I want to take this opportunity to thank you once more for giving us such an amazing tour! Chris and I have since reminisced about what we saw, what we heard, what we learned and we both agree that our favourite part of our whole trip was the time spent with you and with Rory - THANK YOU!!! Would you kindly send me your mailing address so that I might send you a little something please? We want to return to Liverpool since we only got to spend one day there and there is so much more to see and do! Chris just told me that Sir Paul McCartney will be performing on June the 1st, 2008 in Liverpool. We would love to attend this concert and have not ruled it out. I know I really want to go! Oh! We went to see this movie called Across the Universe this past weekend. It is set in part in Liverpool and has Beatles songs throughout. We both enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone who is a Beatles fan. I am sitting here with a heart full of wonderful memories of our special trip to the UK. Thank you for contributing to these! Your new friend in Canada, Danielle (P.S. Give my regards to your father!)
